The Liverpool Map was successfully installed with a smooth and quick manual installation process, involving four burly men carefully manhandling each 100 kilo slab of glass into place.
The Liverpool Daily Post was there to witness the event as was the client; the Liverpool Museum staff, Open Culture and Phil Redmond.
The Museum will open on the 19th July. A separate launch for the Map will happen later in the year.
