The planning for a new programme of glass classes to be run from the studio in Lilliesleaf in Autumn is completed and will include fusing tile workshops, making your own stained glass panels, pate-de-verre and glass workshops and a special Valentine’s session. The programme will include weekend and evening sessions for adults and children. It will be launched at the Crossing Borders Art Trail which IDAGOS will take part in on Friday-Sunday 9-11th September 2011. The workshops will be taught by Inge Panneels and Rachel O’Dell. More details to follow!

I’ve just missed the glass class!! Especially pate-de-verre. When is the next class planned? I’ve seen Rachel O’Dell at Art in Action and I’d love to learn how to make mould as well. The thing is I live in Buckinghamshire and Scotland is a long way!! I wonder whether you’ve got plans to come down to London way or around here for demonstrations sometime next year?
Looking forward to hear from you, Rachel.
hello Reiko,
thanks for your comment. We are not planning to run any classes further afield for the moment with all the equipment being up here in the studio. However, perhaps if you can get a bunch of 8 or so people together, it might be worthwhile travelling down and teaching the class, provided kilns etc can be sources locally? Worth a thought?
Also, if you register on the mailinglist you should get an automatic update on the new class programme when launched next year. Next year’s programme will have some pate-de-verre classes in it!
Inge
Hi. I live in Innerleithen, and am very interested in stained glass making classes – weekends or evenings. Please put me on your mailing list for whatever you’ve got coming up. Thanks, Anne
Hello Anne

Perhaps see you at the Art Trail in Ancrum? See blog for more information!
